Record each review claim with its own evidence.
Different states answer different questions; one does not automatically establish the next.
| Claim | Evidence needed |
|---|---|
| Saved | The intended revision was stored without a stale-save conflict. |
| Mechanically checked | The relevant format or timing checks ran on that revision and their limits are recorded. |
| Human reviewed | A responsible reviewer checked the required audiovisual and language content. |
| Recipient accepted | The receiving party actually accepted the specified delivery. |
A small decision is not a whole-episode approval
A reviewer may confirm one name while leaving a song, sound cue or timing exception unresolved. Retain those distinctions. If text or timing changes later, check whether the earlier decision still applies.
Use a readable record
Keep a revision, scope, reviewer and unresolved-question field. Avoid a green “passed” label that hides whether audio was ever checked. The Bilingual worksheet keeps source and translation review separate. The change-summary script helps find differences between exported revisions; it cannot decide whether a new translation is better.
